Unfortunately she had no progeny as she died at such a young age. HD-A

Gæfudís was the apple of her owners eye, she was dearly loved and is sadly missed. She was a very active and happy dog. She loved the great outdoors and unfortunately her curiosity and love of nature is just what cost her her life. The news of her tragic death hit me like a ton of bricks, this sweet little girl that was going to bring wonderful progeny into the world to make her mother proud, was gone. She apperently died instantly as she got caught in an unlawful animal trap in the woods, she had just months earlier given her owner a scare as she got caught in a trap and almost bleed to death. Alas, the second time she wasn´t to be as lucky. Her owner has a heart of gold and I know it must have been devastating for him to lose his beautiful Gæfudís. I keep in my heart a small space for Gæfudís as I do all my puppies and I comfort myself knowing that she lived a wonderful life with a caring person. (Unfortunately, not all puppies can say that!!!) No one could have loved her more nor given her a fuller life than her owner Sverre Aklestad in Norway. My prayers go out to him and I thank him for loving Gæfudís during her 4 years on this earth.
