What we hope to achieve with this litter. The inbreeding co-efficient is 0.8% in 5 generations in Lathunden program. We hope to add genetic diversity since Skella is not of the most common lines and Klói's mother's line is slightly less used while hopefully maintaining type and breed specific traits. Klói needs a bit of size and we are hoping Skella will add that as well as a bit of bone since she is slightly on the larger size when it comes to height (which is rare in our breed today). She is a longhair while he is a medium shorthaired and we expect a mixed litter with black tri's as well as tans. Hopefully all will work out and we will have a litter around the end of July. This will be Skella's second litter (first litter was born to Mánaskálar kennel) and Klói's first.
