Went to see Freyja's father yesterday March 17th 2008, he is going on 16 years old and no one knows how much time he has left. I have told Rúnar so many times that Freyja was the spitting image of her father and the reason I got her was because I loved his temperament and look and so I had to use this chance to let Rúnar meet him in person. His ears are bad now he got blood ears in them a while back, he has always been healthy overall and still is, he is a little bit worse for wear but that loving sweet temperament and all of Freyja's character traits were still there! It was just uncanney and I couldn't help but smile and got a warm feeling all over to see my little Freyja "in spirit" again.

Birta went to meet her new boyfriend today March 15th, not to be mated since she isn't ready yet but we wanted them to meet each other and to see if we were happy with our decision of a male for her and we got such a wonderful impression of him and the two of them together. We are very happy with this little guys, temperament is AWESOME and he is such a sweetie too! Birta seemed to be extremely happy with her new guy, they are so much alike both character and looks that it is a bit uncanney. He is a little out of coat but is a longhaired as well.

Mosi seemed to really like Rúnar but then he climbed up on my lap as well right after I took the photo. The good old Icelandic temperament just like Freyja! It can melt the hardest heart I can imagine.

Here they just had a little goodbye kiss. :-)

Vaskur reminds me so much of Freyja, the way he came over and sat by Rúnar for a few minutes of petting and rest, so cute!

Here are a few photos taken today the 2nd of December. They are still very happy to see each other but no tied mating as of yet.

When we called Hófi to leave she decided she just wanted to stay there with her "boyfriend" and sat outside the door to where he was. :-) Although her recall is very good Rúnar actually had to go and get her to bring her to the car.
