A few photos taken at the HRFI dog show June 29th 2008. I didn't get a good photo of all my grandpuppies but tried to get as many as possible at least one photo that they can be seen on. One didn't show up but ALL of the grandpuppies present got Excellent as a quality grade so it was a very good day. First photo is a young male dog named Zetu Garpur, he did very well and was 3rd Best male with Champion quality. Second photo is a dog named Zetu Týri (both males are sons of Töfra Duck out of Luck Nero), he got 3 place in his class.

Next came the females, junior class. First photo is of Godheima Nótt, Zetu Jökla and Godheima Nikki. Second photo you can also see Zetu Cobra (girl in pink).

All four on the photo here. First one and third one out of Töfra Duck out of Luck Nero, second and fourth in line on photo are out of Töfra Swan Dive Doppa. Third one on the photo Zetu Jökla took 1st place, girl in pink took 2nd place, girl in black clothes took 3rd place and the one to the far right was in 4th place. The first two got Champion quality and competed in Best Female. .

The young female on the right is a grandpuppy, she is litter sister to the two Doppa daughters in the class before. This one is called Zetu Eir and she took 2nd in her class.

Lastly here is one from the Working dogs class, she was my favourite of the day because it was like looking at Valdís in a lighter coloured version with a slightly different head (her head is not quite as nice as Dísa's was). She looks a lot like her father Töfra Turkey's Nightmare Prímuz who only has this one litter of which this female´s litter sister is a Field trial Champion. In any case this one is called Ljóssins Diljá and she competed in the working class which means she has a prize from a field trial. She was 1st in her class and got Champion quality. She was bigger than the other females and I don't know if that's why she only placed 3rd Best female. Unfortunately she didn't get a Champion point today, she only needed one to become an Icelandic Champion, she is going to Denmark in August so that means she will have to become a Danish Champion before she can use her points towards the Icelandic title.

Here are the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex who was Zetu Jökla on the right, Nero's daughter. She also won Best Puppy in Show when she was shown for the very first time last year. A beautiful example of the breed.

After the breed juding two different groups came in one was a Progeny class with Zetu puppies and their mother Zeta (who is seen at the far left of the photo). They got a prize of honour.

Then the mother left and the four littermates competed as a Breeder's group which also got an honour prize. Both groups competed in Best in Show and both placed 1st as the Best Progeny and Breeder's Group in Show. Awesome for their breeder since this is the second time in a row that this happens. Nero can definitely be one very proud Daddy! (Nero is the dog who just recently lost one eye due to being attacked by a cat, he eye had to be removed because it was so damaged after many months of trying to let it heal).
