Meet our first litter of GSP´s!
Born 20 and 21st of March 2002.
Father: Atlevågen's Casper
Casper is a Norwegian import from top hunting/show lines. This was the first litter he sired.
Casper or as I call him Jonatan, (don't ask me why, just thought it suit him) stayed at our home in Norway until he was old enough to be sent to the quarantine station in Iceland. He was able to attend one dogshow in Norway with us and at the tender age of 4 months (just before his trip) he won Best of Breed Puppy, Best Puppy in Group 7 and 5th place Best in Show Puppy. After arriving in Iceland his show/field trial career was put on hold as his owner unfortunately was in poor health. He later changed homes and is used as a hunting dog but very seldom comes to shows and does not attend field trials either. He is a natural retriever extraordinaire with great talent in the field but needs a bit of training to show his true potential. Casper stayed with us for a few months of training and attended one dog show in Iceland with us as well. At that dog show Casper was Best Male with Icelandic and International Champion points. He went on to be Best of Breed and 3rd place in Group 7. His ring training wasn't perfected but obviously he did an OK job that day! (Clicker trained for the show of course!) :-)

Lastly was our poor little Harka, she was born 4:45, the good size of 460 gr. but when she died was down to a mear 390 gr. She is burried where she is surrounded by birds and nature!
